Back To School: 2021-22 School Calendars In Cinnaminson

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Cinnaminson, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Cinnaminson Public School District and at Westfield Friends School.

The first day of school for students in the public school district is Sept. 9. Students in preschool and kindergarten at Westfield Friends School head back to the classroom on Aug. 30, followed by Grades 1-4 on Aug. 31 and Grades 5-8 on Sept. 1.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Cinnaminson.

When it outlined its plans for a safe reopening earlier this summer, the public school district said it would continue to follow requirements for face coverings as set forth by the state at the time that schools reopen in the fall, and adjust as guidance evolves.

Exceptions already exist for extreme temperatures, high-intensity physical activities, food consumption, and for scenarios that heighten medical risk. Cinnaminson Public School District

• First Day: Sept. 9
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)
• Winter Break: Dec. 24-31
• Spring Break: April 15-22
• Last Day: June 21

Westfield Friends School

• First Days of School: Aug. 30 through Sept. 1
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-26 (double check if your district has the 24th off)
• Winter Break: Dec. 20 through Jan. 3
• Spring Break: March 21-25
• Last Day: June 9
• Commencement: June 10
