NJ Boy, 4, Dies Of Apparent Self-Inflicted Gunshot: Prosecutor
A horrible tragedy took place in New Jersey on Friday night. A toddler died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, prosecutors said.

BROWNS MILLS – A horrible tragedy took place in South Jersey on Friday night when a toddler died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, prosecutor said.
The incident happened at 7:07 pm when Pemberton Township police were dispatched to Maricopa Trail on a report of a 4-year-old boy who suffered a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.
Police and EMS responded and the boy was transported to Virtua Deborah Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8 p.m., prosecutors said.

“It’s a very very unfortunate situation,” Mayor David Patriarca told The Burlington County Times. “My heart goes out to the family.”
Pemberton Township school officials confirmed to The Times that the child was a student at the district’s Early Childhood Education Center for 3- and 4-year-olds.
