These Events Are Coming Up In Burlington County This Weekend

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Here's a list of upcoming events in Burlington County, courtesy of our friends at Visit South Jersey, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey.
The final Blueberry Summer Fest Market at Whitesbog for the year will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The theme is Family Day, and it will feature Smokin Rev and Lady Q’s Gourmet Barbeque, pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket, nachos, sausage, snowballs, chicken, fries, mac n’ cheese, baked beans, hamburgers, fried fish and drinks. There will also be piney crafts, local artisans, walking sticks, Girl Scouts, soaps, bath bombs, handmade woodwork, and an animal adoption group. Bands include Saw Mill Run String Band, Heidi & Sharis, and Raising River Band. The rain date is Sunday. Laurita Winery in New Egypt will host the Luau at the Laurita Food Truck Fair on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It features an incredible, cannot miss show by the South Pacific Island Dancers, including Samoan Fire Knife Dancers and Hawaiian Dancers! Four shows per day. There will also be food trucks, vineyard tours, clown painting and wine. The cost is $12 for each person 21 years old and older, and anyone younger than 21 gets in free. The Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown hosts the Kevin Quigley Solo Exhibition: Ring-A-Ding-Ding! through Sept. 17. Kevin Quigley's work is a colorful and active exhibition of oil paintings portraying scenes of everyday life in a humorous way. The Artist Reception is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 21. Opening for the season May 8th, Burlington County operates a weekly community farmers market that features more than 30 vendors. The market is an extension of the county's farmland preservation goals in that it provides opportunities for local farmers to direct market their products at retail prices.
