Union Co. Teen Hit By Car On Rt. 1 In Linden: Police
The 18-year-old was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries following the hit-and-run Monday, according to police.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — An 18-year-old Rahway man was hit by car while crossing the street at the intersection with Aviation Plaza North in Linden Monday night, according to Linden Police.
After hitting the man, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the vehicle fled the scene and continued north on Route 1 toward Elizabeth, Linden Police said. The 18-year-old was then rushed to Newark University Hospital with critical injuries.
According to police, the suspect car was traveling northbound on W. Edgar Road on U.S. Route 1&9 when it hit the man.
