Car Accident Prompts Road Closure In Clark
A section of Raritan Road is currently closed due to the accident that occurred Wednesday morning, police said.
CLARK, NJ — The Clark Police Department is investigating a traffic accident that occurred Wednesday morning when a car struck a utility pole on Raritan Road.
The accident prompted the closure of Raritan Road, and Clark Police said there were no reported injuries.
While officers conducted their investigation, driver of the vehicle that hit the utility pole was placed under arrest for driving under the influence, according to Clark Police. Ultimately, he was processed and released pending a court appearance.

PSE&G was on-scene, repaired the utility pole and officers opened up Raritan Road, police said.
