Celebrate National Ice Cream Day With The Debut Of 'Yummy' In Garwood

GARWOOD, NJ — With National Ice Cream Day coming up on Sunday, July 17, Garwood locals can celebrate by ordering a scoop or two from the newest addition to town — Yummy Ice Cream.

The new ice cream shop is located on 1 North Avenue and recently had its grand opening on Saturday.

Customers at Yummy can choose between a cup or cone of hand-swirled ice cream for $6, a hand-blended milkshake for $7 or a handmade frozé for just $5.

The handmade frozé comes in various flavors, such as strawberry lemonade, pineapple pitaya, Arnold Palmer, unsweetened green iced tea and cold brew iced coffee.

You can also pick from a variety of blended toppings to add on to either vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Some unique toppings include red velvet Oreo's, brownies, Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Snickers, Nutella and more.

Other specials include a fresh coconut colada, served in coconut shell, as well as all natural Italian ice, homemade cookies and cream and acai ice cream.
