Gas Leak Reported At Clark Town Hall

Clark Police, Clark Fire Department and Elizabethtown Gas Company went to the Town Hall on Wednesday morning.

CLARK, NJ — A gas leak at Clark Town Hall prompted emergency officials to respond on Wednesday.

Clark Police, Clark Fire and Elizabethtown Gas Company went to Clark Town Hall for an odor of gas.

All personnel were evacuated and removed as a safety precaution.

The source of the gas leak was found and officials are isolating it for repairs, said Clark Township Police Department.

"We are closely monitoring the situation. In the meantime, please avoid the area and do not call the police department 911 line unless it’s an emergency," said police.
