TikTok Video Shows NJ Cop Threatening To 'Whoop' Someone
The City of Elizabeth is investigating an incident involving a police officer threatening someone in a TikTok video that was posted Sunday.

ELIZABETH, NJ — An Elizabeth police officer was caught on a TikTok video threatening to "whoop" someone and also said he would return to confront this person after his shift without his badge and uniform.
Ruby Contreras, Elizabeth's Acting Public Information Officer, said the City is aware of the video and an Internal Affairs investigation has been commenced.
The video posted on Sunday with the uniformed officer was filmed outside a corner store which is owned by the user's family, according to the post.

"I'll come back here at 8 o'clock and I’ll whoop, I’ll bust you open, all up and down this place," according to the video.
The confrontation was allegedly following a crash that involved the user's family member, according to someone's comment on the post.

When another person off-camera described the cop's language as a threat, the officer responded, "Yeah, I’m threatening him, so what?"
The officer continued to use profanity and said, "It’s all good, I don’t give a f---."
As of Wednesday, the video has around 192.9K views, as well as over 1300 comments. The full TikTok can be viewed here.
