Union Co. Native, NFL Legend Tony Siragusa Dead At 55: Report
Tony Siragusa, a former defensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts, has died, according to reports.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Tony Siragusa, a former NFL player for the Baltimore Ravens and Union County native, died Wednesday, according to reports. He was 55.
Affectionately called "Goose" by teammates and colleagues, Siragusa died in his sleep, Pro Football Network reported.
Siragusa grew up in Kenilworth and attended Brearley High School there. In high school, he played football and was also a member of the wrestling team.

Former Ravens teammate Brad Jackson told reporter Aaron Wilson: "He was the leader, he was our captain. He meant everything to everyone. It's a sad day. I just talked to him on Sunday. It's terrible."
Siragusa played 12 seasons in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2001. During his time in the NFL, Siragusa recorded 22 sacks and 564 combined tackles, according to NJ.com.

He later spent more than a decade as a sideline analyst for Fox NFL Sunday.
