Upscale Apartment Complex In Garwood Has Grand Opening

GARWOOD, NJ — Phase 1 of the Vermella at Garwood Station luxury apartment complex is now complete, and Russo Development held its grand opening event on Tuesday.

Mayor Sara Todisco, council members, planning board members, other town officials and Russo Development’s team/partners all attended the grand opening.

Phase 1 of the project consisted of building 296 apartment units, which is now complete.

Here are some of the project details:

• Completion of the project was more than ten years in the making – with Russo Development, Garwood Officials, and the community working closely together to bring the project to where it is today
• 40,000 square feet of amenity space (gym, clubhouse, resort style pool & sundeck, etc.)
• 19,500 square feet of street-level retail space, off-street covered parking exclusively for retail customers, outdoor community space and seating)
• Property located directly adjacent to the NJT Garwood Train Station
• Phase 2, directly across the street – currently under construction
• Located at 450 South Street in Garwood
