The application to join Clark's rental waiting list for affordable housing units is now open.
CLARK, NJ — For those looking for affordable housing in Clark, applications are now open to join to Clark rental waiting list.
A total of 28 new affordable apartments are estimated to be available in the spring at Walnut Hill apartments — located at 35 Walnut Avenue in Clark.
People are advised to get on the list by March 27 to be included in the random lottery number drawing to determine priority order. If you do not have an email address, call 609-664-2769 ext. 5.

The new apartment units include amenities like central air conditioning, dishwashers and in-unit washer and dryers. The complex also offers a gym, lounge and swimming pool.

Pets are allowed, but fees and restrictions apply. This is also a smoke-free community.
Although any income eligible households may apply, residents and workers of Essex, Morris, Union and Warren counties will be selected before residents of other counties or states.
