$500K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Union County: See Where

​This is the second of three top prizes to be claimed.

ELIZABETH, NJ — A lottery player in Elizabeth won $500,000 on a "Triple Match" scratch-off ticket.

The $10 ticket was sold by Gomez Taveras Super at 1102 Elizabeth Ave., according to the New Jersey Lottery.

This was second top prize claimed in the game. There is still one more winning $500,000 ticket.

As of Tuesday, the New Jersey Lottery has contributed close to $37 billion to the state since 1970. The money is used to help fund a variety of programs and services like the state employee retirement system.
