CRANFORD, NJ — Throughout the month of February, Cranford is taking part in LoveStorm — a town-wide fundraiser that involves hand-knit hearts right in the town's center.

Hosted by Downtown Cranford and YarnStomers, this year's LoveStorm has already raised $2,260 for Robert Hurewitz, a former Cranford firefighter who is currently experiencing serious health issues.

Hurewitz's wife, Amanda, recently created a GoFundMe for the family, as Hurewitz can no longer work due to his medical issues and they are struggling financially.
