Cranford Cafe Closing After Nearly 12 Years In Business

The sisters have two other locations.

CRANFORD, NJ — Fresh Press Juice Co. is shutting its doors in Cranford on Wednesday after nearly 12 years downtown.

As business winds down, the sisters-owners team said they will continue to welcome customers at their Bernardsville and Summit locations where the cafe "is still thriving."

In a message to the Cranford community, staff thanked visitors for their support and highlighted how "this location has been filled with early mornings, fresh juice, laughter, regular faces turned into friends, and moments we'll carry with us forever."

Fresh Press Juice Co. is owned by sisters Deven and Lauren Burgio, and serves soup, bowls, smoothies, meals, and more. According to the business website, all products are 100% organic, vegan, and gluten-free.

Through the power of fruits and vegetables, the sisters said they "hope to share their love of juice and passion for a healthy lifestyle with others."

They add that, "The thought of changing other people's lives in such a natural, simple way" was what inspired them to open their first location in 2013 in Downtown Cranford.

"This isn't goodbye-it's see you soon," the message to the community closed with.

The juice will be flowing one final time on Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at 105 South Avenue E.
