Cranford Gets Spooky In The Streets With 'Scarecrow Stroll' On Friday

More than 100 scarecrows created by residents, businesses, organizations, schools, and families will be on display.

CRANFORD, NJ — The 18th Annual Scarecrow Stroll will take over the streets of Cranford beginning on Friday.

More than 100 scarecrows created by residents, businesses, organizations, schools, and families will be on display through Oct. 31. Along with providing a fall backdrop to the neighborhood, the scarecrows will be competing for prizes in two tiers, "Main Categories" and "Character Categories."

Main Category winners will receive Downtown Cranford gift cards ranging from $50 to $100. Character Category winners will receive a Downtown Cranford gift card worth $25.

Voting will take place on the Downtown Cranford website from Oct. 11 to Oct. 31.
