- Roadwork continues on N. Union Avenue by Emma's Brick Oven Pizza and Cafe. The road is blocked off at Alden Street.
- Teal ribbons are tied about downtown lamp posts and trees to raise awareness for ovarian cancer.
- The bridge on Springfield Avenue remains closed for construction. Local motorists cut through the residential streets near Cranford High School to make it downtown. Visitors looking to take Springfield Avenue to North Avenue might be surprised to find that the detour leads them to Kenilworth Boulevard.

- Blockbuster offers closing deals on DVDs, video games and Ralph Steadman artwork. I left with about five half-price movies.
