Police Make Two Separate DWI Arrests

Cranford police activity from September 3-7.

Cranford police arrested two separate drivers last week for driving while intoxicated. The arrests were made after one driver was caught making an illegal turn, and another for driving without headlights.

Thursday, September 3:
Police stopped a vehicle on Centennial Avenue for making an illegal turn at 2:05 a.m. Through further investigation, Tristan Tevrow, 24, of Elizabeth was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was also charged with making an illegal turn. 

Monday, September 7:
Police stopped a vehicle on Centennial Avenue at Raritan Road for not having its headlights on. Further investigation led to the arrest of Emmanuel Alessi, 43, of Clark for driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit breath tests. He was also charged with careless driving and for having no headlights on.
