Third Eye Blind Rocks Crowd During First Night of MusicFest
Rainy weather didn't stunt attendance.
Day one of Union County Musicfest did not appear to be held back by the rain. Performer Uncle Kracker and rock band Third Eye Blind both attracted significant crowds Saturday night, despite a constant drizzle and mud-covered ground at the new Oak Ridge Park.
County spokeswoman Tina Casey told Patch that they were actually surprised by the turnout, given the weather. A large number of people, she said, poured in for the Third Eye Blind show.
The action continues today with performances by Tonic, the Gin Blossoms, Glen Tillbrook, They Might Be Giants and Pete Yorn.
