Van Gogh’s Ear Cafe Closed After Car Plows Through Eatery
A blue minivan plowed through the front doors and windows of the eatery on Tuesday, according to a Facebook post from the owners.

UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ - Union Township favorite Van Gogh’s Ear Cafe had an unexpected visitor Tuesday morning, and it sure overstayed its welcome.
According to a Facebook post from the Stuyvesant Avenue cafe, a blue minivan plowed through the front doors and windows of the eatery Tuesday morning.
The vehicle was nearly completely inside the location, according to a photo from the post.

“Had an unexpected visitor early this morning, luckily we were closed and no one was inside,” the owners said. “We will be closed until we can get this sorted out and cleaned up.”
Union Fire Chief Greg Ricciardi told TAPInto Cranford that the incident occurred at around 8:40 a.m. after the vehicle went over the sidewalk. The driver was not injured, the outlet said.

It was not immediately clear what led to the incident, though CBS News reported that the driver said the vehicle might’ve had a mechanical issue.
