EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – The East Brunswick Police Department is hiring. So if you want to be a police officer, this is your chance.
Frequently voted the “Best” Police Department in Middlesex County, the department prides itself on “proudly serving” the community with honor, integrity and public trust.
There are many different opportunities in the East Brunswick Police Department. There are positions open at the Patrol Operations, SWAT, Detective Bureau, School Resource Officer, Special Operations (Traffic), Motorcycle Unit, Community Policing Unit, Community Response Unit, and more.

Among the many qualifications, an applicant must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of New Jersey, and possess a valid New Jersey Driver's License at the time of appointment.
They must be no less than 18 years of age, or more than 35 years of age, at the time of appointment. They must also have the ability to read, write, and speak the English language clearly and intelligently while possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The physical test will be held on Sept. 22 at the East Brunswick High School track and a written test will be scheduled on Sept. 25 for candidates who successfully pass the physical test.
