Firefighters Injured, Buildings Damaged In Atlantic City Fire

Two firefighters were injured and several buildings were damaged after a fire broke out in Atlantic City, according to media reports.

The blaze began around 10 p.m. on Saturday at the back of a building on Monterey Avenue, News12 reported. Around 55 firefighters helped extinguish the blaze.

6 People Displaced In Egg Harbor House Fire

Six people were displaced after a fire blazed through a home in Egg Harbor on Sunday afternoon, according to media reports.

The fire was reported at 1:30 p.m. on Bristol Road off Tremont Avenue.

Neighbors living across the street said they heard an explosion and ran out to see flames coming from the garage of the two-story house, according to NJ.com.

Six people living in the home managed to escape, with one of them suffering a minor injury to their hand, and were treated on the scene, 95.5 WPG Radio reported.

Woman Killed In Route. 1 Crash

A 24-year-old Trenton woman was killed in a crash on Route 1 South Brunswick on Friday morning, police said.

The 24-year-old was driving on Route 1 South near the intersection of New Road when she struck the back of a tractor-trailer. The accident involved three vehicles, police said.
