Wolves Howl It Up at the Library (VIDEO)

You may think they’re fierce predators of the wild, but the wolves that visited the last week were anything but.  Howling Woods Farm, a rescue shelter for domestic bred wolves and wolf dogs, visited the library on Monday, June 25, with a few of its wonderful animals and those who were lucky enough to get in soon discovered that these canines were more interested in playing than hunting. After learning about the evolution of wolves, their physical attributes, communication and pack structure, everyone got the chance to meet and greet these friendly, playful animals.

The wolves have been featured on the Today Show and appeared in the Disney movie “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
