Athletic Complex Hearing, Halloween Maze This Week

Florham Park BOE: The Florham Park school board is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Florham Park Board of Education Administrative Offices, Conference Room, 67 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park.

East Hanover BOE: The East Hanover school board is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the East Hanover Board of Education Office, 20 School Ave.

Voter Registration: Tuesday is the deadline to register for the General Election. For more information call the clerk's office. East Hanover: 973-428-3000. Florham Park: 973-410-5300.

Applications for Mail-In ballots are available at the clerk's office and online. Ballots must be completed and returned postmarked no later than Oct. 30 if by mail, or by Monday, Nov. 5, in person.

High School Athletic Complex Hearing: A public meeting and hearing about plans to build multi-million-dollar athletic complexes at Hanover Park and Whippany Park high schools in place of the current facilities is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Hanover Park High School theater.

Florham Park Borough Council: The governing body is scheduled to meet on Thursday in Borough Hall, 111 Ridgedale Ave. Work session starts at 6:30 p.m. and the regular meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Spooky Halloween Maze: Halos for Angels Inc. presents Fright Factor: Florham Park's Ultimate Pathway to Terror at the Chase Bank, 186 Ridgedale Ave., every Thursday through Sunday night in October. From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., attendees can walk through the spooky Halloween maze. On Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be not-so-frightful, kid-friendly tours with face painting. Admission is $10 per person to benefit Halos for Angels Inc.
