The Hanover Park High School Dance Team proved they were a force to be reckoned with at the InterNationals dance competition at Disney World on March 16. After weeks of intense practice, the team placed first in their division, had the highest overall score of the competition and were crowned Grand Champions by Ameri-Dance/Ameri-Cheer. In addition, Captain Dominique Calabro took home a third place trophy for her solo. The team is coached by Lisa Black and Andrea Vecchione. Members consists of: <ul> <li>Prya Butani</li> <li>Amanda Cassidy</li> <li>Gianna DiStasio</li> <li>Lisa LoPinto</li> <li>Nicole Tassielli</li> <li>Bonnie Zwigard</li> <li>Gianna Tricola, captain</li> <li>and Dominique Calabro, captain.</li> </ul> The dance team is looking for new members since they will graduate soloist and captain Dominique Calabro this year. Black asks any current or incoming students to try out in the spring.
