A new year starts for the East Hanover Township Council soon, which means reorganization for the governing body.  Township Clerk Paula A. Massaro announced Tuesday that the municipal reorganization meeting is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at 7 p.m. It will take place at the Municipal Building, 411 Ridgedale Ave. The process of reorganization includes swearing in new council members and approving continuing and new township those serving on municipal boards and committees and professionals giving direct service to the Town Council. As stipulated by New Jersey law, the council must reorganize on or before Jan. 7, 2014.
