Florham Park Police Captain Retiring at Month's End
Mark Garcia, the department's lone captain is calling it a career on Nov. 30, according to reports.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.– Florham Park Police Department's lone captain Mark Garcia is retiring at month's end after a 28-year career in law enforcement, the Florham Park Eagle reported.
Garcia started with FPPD on April 1, 1989, according to the Florham Park Eagle.
He was promoted to detective in 1998, detective sergeant in 2003, detective lieutenant in 2008, and captain last year, the Florham Park Eagle reported.

Garcia, a volunteer firefighter, was born and raised in Florham Park, graduating from Hanover Park High School in 1983, according to the Florham Park Eagle.
A promotion is expected to occur at the Florham Park's Dec. 15 council meeting, the Florham Park Eagle reported.
