The Florham Park Public Library opens their popular Second Sundays series this year with <a href="https://easthanover-florhampark.patch.com/groups/events/p/traveling-stage-company-presents-coretta-scott-king">'Let Freedom Ring,' the historic legacy of Coretta Scott King.</a> Actress and singer Carmen Artis of the Traveling Stage Company stars in the program, which is to be held on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. The legendary Coretta Scoot King is brought back to life through the concept of a "Freedom Concert' which she performed all over the United States and Europe.  Artis chronicles the Civil Rights Struggle through music and narrative, from Scott-King's humble upbringing in rural Alabama to her partnership with Martin Luther King Jr.  The presentation is free and open to the public.
