Coretta Scott King Legacy Portrayed at Florham Park Library Program
Carmen Artis of the Traveling Stage Co. will portray the wife of the slain civil rights leader this Sunday.

The Florham Park Public Library opens their popular Second Sundays series this year with 'Let Freedom Ring,' the historic legacy of Coretta Scott King.
Actress and singer Carmen Artis of the Traveling Stage Company stars in the program, which is to be held on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m.
The legendary Coretta Scoot King is brought back to life through the concept of a "Freedom Concert' which she performed all over the United States and Europe. Artis chronicles the Civil Rights Struggle through music and narrative, from Scott-King's humble upbringing in rural Alabama to her partnership with Martin Luther King Jr.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
