Madison Area YMCA Board of Directors Elects New Leadership

(Madison, NJ) August 11, 2023– The Madison Area YMCA Board of Directors elected new leadership at its 2023 annual meeting in July. While celebrating the Y’s 150th Anniversary this year, the Board elected Mike Griffin and Susanne von der Linde, both of Madison, as Board chair and vice chair, respectively. The Board also honored retiring Board member and Madison civic leader Astri Baillie and welcomed new Board member Ming Chang of Chatham who joined the Board this year.

Founded in 1873, the Madison Area YMCA is celebrating its 150th year with a series of community events and a banner display in downtown Madison highlighting the Y’s community benefit impact. The Y has adapted and evolved with the changing times while continuing to deliver relevant services to the community. The programs have touched lives, created memories, and left an indelible mark on the fabric of the community.
