Schools Close, Hanover Park Regional Meeting This Week
A look at the week ahead in East Hanover and Florham Park.
Columbus Day: East Hanover and Florham Park schools are closed Monday for Columbus Day.
East Hanover Council: The Township Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the main meeting room of the municipal building, 411 Ridgedale Ave. A presentation by East Hanover Schools Superintendent Dr. Joseph Ricca is on the agenda.
Hanover Park Regional Board of Education: The regional school board meets at at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Administration Building Conference Room, 75 Mt. Pleasant Ave., East Hanover.
Spooky Halloween Maze: Halos for Angels Inc. presents Fright Factor: Florham Park's Ultimate Pathway to Terror at the Chase Bank, 186 Ridgedale Ave., every Thursday through Sunday night in October. From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., attendees can walk through the spooky Halloween maze. On Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be not-so-frightful, kid-friendly tours with face painting. Admission is $10 per person to benefit Halos for Angels Inc.
