Welcoming the New Year with Programs for All!

Register for the Winter Session at the Madison Area YMCA

The Madison Area YMCA announces program registration for Winter Session and Summer 2025 Clinics. Registration opens with priority member online beginning Monday, January 6 at 9 AM to help families best plan for the upcoming months. Open registration for any remaining classes begins on Friday, January 10 at 9 AM. Our Winter Session begins Monday, January 27 and Summer Clinics begin Monday, June 23.

The Madison Area YMCA offers a diverse array of winter session classes tailored for preschoolers to adults across all program areas. There is truly something for everybody! We have several highlighted winter programs available, including Crafty Crochet (Grades 2-9), Adult Crafty Crochet (18+ yrs.), Coding and Game Design (Grades 3-7), Girl Power Icons Musical Theater (7+ yrs), In My Swiftie Era (7+ yrs), Lyrical Dance and Technique (8+ yrs), Master Bake Boss (Grades 3-8) and Pee Wee Football (3-5 yrs); there is truly something for everyone!

Check out our brand-new 20-week School of Performing Arts (SOPA) classes, featuring a range of selections including acting, ballet, tap, hip hop, musical theater, and many more. The SOPA 20-week program will round off with an exciting Year-End Showcase, where participants can display their hard work through energetic and inspiring performances across different dance and theatrical styles. Throughout this 20-week experience, participants of all ages get the opportunity to explore new interests and learn alongside their peers in a fun and safe environment that emphasizes unity, support, and growth, led by highly skilled and welcoming Y staff.

“When you dance, you experience a sense of well-being, carry yourself with grace, and exude confidence,” said School of Performing Arts Director Gus Ibranyi. “The arts can profoundly impact young people, fostering creativity, self-worth, and the ability to think critically and imaginatively.”

With programs for preschoolers through teenagers across Aquatics, Enrichment, Fitness, Gymnastics, SOPA, special needs programming, Sports, and Y Ninja Gym, we offer programs and classes to match every interest, ensuring opportunities for all ages and abilities. Although programs are open to all, to receive an attractive member rate, active Madison Area YMCA membership is required. Join the Y today! One of the many benefits of Madison Area YMCA membership includes Scholarships. Cost should never be a barrier to finding the support you need. As a charitable organization, we offer scholarships including need-based assistance to help individuals and families access the programs that are important to them for membership, childcare, summer day camp, and programs.
