What are Your Favorite Easter/Passover Recipes?

It’s the holiday season!

Okay, maybe it's not the holiday season, but it’s spring (officially, at least--just try not to look at the snow banks when you say that) and with spring comes Passover and Easter, holidays which mark the season of rebirth and some of which are observed by area residents.

And just like that other holiday season, these holidays come with traditional recipes and dishes that we look forward to all year long.

So we thought we'd ask you: What are your favorite Passover or Easter recipes? Do you have your nana’s matzoh ball soup recipe tucked away in a sock drawer? Maybe your own version of charoset? How about your aunt’s incredible braided Easter bread?

While this editor's childhood Easters had their own recipes, the way you knew it was Easter in my house was the smell of hot cross buns. My mother would stay up very late and wake up very early to make hot cross buns for breakfast on Easter morning. Earlier today when I saw some in the grocery store, I knew Easter really was on its way.
