Former Hightstown HS Counselor Dies at 65
Joseph Garrison lived in East Windsor for most of his life.

Joseph A. Garrison, 65, of East Windsor, passed away Saturday, April 13, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Joe was an East Windsor resident for most of his life. He was a teacher at St. Anthony's High School and a guidance counselor at Northern Burlington County Regional High School and Hightstown High School.
Joe was predeceased by his father, Wellington (Gary) Garrison. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Helene Dzurisin (Garrison) of 16 years; his mother, Wray D'Ambrosio Garrison; daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Sean Redman of Ashburn, VA; son, Andrew Dzurisin of East Windsor, and grandchildren, Gabriel and Mira Redman of Ashburn, VA.
A Mass was celebrated on Thursday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 251 Franklin St., East Windsor. Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.
