Hightstown Woman Arrested on DWI, Narcotic Possession Charges

The woman reportedly failed field sobriety tests.

A Hightstown woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the early morning hours of April 6. According to Hightstown police, Aimee Millar, 29, was pulled over for driving 40 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone on Stockton Street.

Millar, a resident of Park Avenue, exhibited signs of intoxication, according to police. Police conducted field sobriety tests on Millar, which she failed, police said. Millar was arrested and found to be in possession of various prescription narcotics.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, speeding, reckless driving, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Millar was released pending court.
