“It is easy and smart for a family to have their child’s car seat inspected for essential protection should an accident occur,” said Sheriff Jack Kemler

Participants can ask questions and receive hands-on instruction from certified technicians on properly using car seats and booster seats. The technicians will also provide information on choosing the right car seat for a child’s age and size, how to correctly install the seat in their vehicle, and how to use that seat correctly every time.

"The entire safety check usually takes no more than five or ten minutes and can save a life,” Kemler said.

Each checkup will take place in the order of arrival. For more information on the program, call 609-209-2880 during business hours.
