17th Annual Miles For Minds 5K Returns To Edison's Roosevelt Park July 27

The event supports JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute's brain injury treatment, stroke recovery, and cardiac rehabilitation.

EDISON, NJ – The Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center Foundation will host its 17th Annual Miles for Minds 5K Race on Sunday, July 27, at Roosevelt Park in Edison.

The event supports JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute's mission to provide world-class brain injury treatment, stroke recovery, and cardiac rehabilitation services.

All proceeds will benefit JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, a nationally recognized leader in rehabilitative care that enhances patient treatment, advances medical research, provides staff training, and funds facility upgrades and cutting-edge equipment.

"The Miles for Minds 5K is one of the most meaningful days of our year, and a chance for our patients, team members and community to come together in the spirit of hope, healing and support," said Anthony Cuzzola, vice president and administrator at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. "These funds directly support patients and team members, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to provide exceptional care."

JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last September, maintains its ranking as a Top Rehabilitation Hospital in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

The family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels, with USA Track and Field sanctioning. Beyond the main 5K race, organizers offer a one-mile fun run, walk, or roll around Roosevelt Park's lake for those seeking a more leisurely pace.

"Each year, we look forward to celebrating the incredible triumphs of our patients who recover from brain injuries and strokes, while raising essential funds to advance care," said Gregory Jones, director of development for JFK University Medical Center Foundation. "It will be a fantastic day filled with inspiration, determination and community spirit."
