EDISON, NJ — A North Edison home was damaged in a Monday night fire, officials said.
The fire broke out at 490 Grove Ave, near James Street, just before 7:30 p.m. One person was home at the time, but left the residence and called 911 when they smelled smoke, officials said.
Firefighters put out flames in the attic and roof, and smoke and water damage has made the home temporarily uninhabitable.
