To prepare for the upgrade, the Edison Public Library will need to run a temporary offline system between June 3 and June 12.
While cardholders will still be able to check out materials, patrons will be unable to sign up for a new library card, pay fines or fees, or place holds during this time; existing hold requests, however, will transition over to the new system.

Additionally, during this time, items cannot be checked in and removed from accounts. As a result, due dates for any materials scheduled to be returned during the offline period will automatically be extended.
No items will need to be returned between June 1 and June 20.
During the integration period, LMxPRESS Plus—which enables patrons to place holds, renew materials, browse, check accounts, and pay fines, all from a mobile device—will also be unavailable but cardholders will still be able to obtain electronic materials through eLibraryNJ/Libby, Hoopla, and Kanopy as well as other online databases offered through the Edison Public Library.
