Edison Public Schools Closed Tuesday Due To Snow

All after-school activities have been canceled as well, the district announced.

EDISON, NJ - The Edison School District announced Tuesday morning, it was closing all schools due to snow.

"Due to winter weather and the potential for ice, sleet, and freezing rain, out of an abundance of caution, Edison Township Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024," the district said in a message.

All after-school activities are also canceled.

Meanwhile, the Metuchen School District announced last night they would be having delayed opening for their schools on Tuesday due to low temperatures and overnight snow.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for all of New Jersey's 21 counties until Tuesday afternoon.
