Edison Teacher Had Sexual Relationship With Underage Boy: Prosecutor

EDISON, NJ — A middle school teacher from Edison who was accused of possessing child porn, also sexually assaulted a male middle school student in 2013, according to authorities.
Back in August this year, authorities arrested and charged Julius Coaccioli, 55, from his home in Woodbridge with third-degree possession of child pornography.
During the investigation, authorities reviewed the voluminous amount of data contained on the devices and discovered that Coaccioli, a science teacher at Woodrow Wilson Middle School, had a sexual relationship with one of his juvenile male middle school students in 2013.

Coaccioli was arrested at the Middlesex County Courthouse and charged with first-degree manufacturing child pornography, first-degree kidnapping, 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree possession of child pornography, 3rd degree aggravated criminal sexual contact, and fourth-degree stalking.
Coaccioli is presently lodged at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending the results of a pre-trial detention hearing in Superior Court, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Robert Hubner of the Woodbridge Police Department said.
