For Rayner, the work represents more than just a hobby – it's a way to provide tangible comfort during families' most difficult moments. Her handmade items serve as lasting expressions of love and support, reminding donor families that their loved ones are forever honored and they are forever supported.

The Wrapped in Love program, which Rayner has championed, provides handmade items that offer warmth and comfort to donor families during their time of grief. Each carefully crafted piece serves as a tangible reminder that their loved one's legacy lives on and that they are not alone in their loss.

But Rayner's impact extends far beyond her individual contributions. The Edison resident has recruited members of her church to join the effort, creating what she calls a "fun with a purpose" community of crafters who share her passion for spreading comfort and compassion. This grassroots movement has multiplied the program's reach, ensuring that more families receive these meaningful gestures of support.

Rayner's tireless work keeps NJ Sharing Network well-stocked with handmade comfort items, allowing the organization to provide immediate support to families when they need it most. Her dedication exemplifies how one person's commitment to service can create ripple effects of compassion throughout the community.

NJ Sharing Network, the federally designated non-profit organization responsible for organ and tissue donation recovery in New Jersey, relies on volunteers like Rayner to carry out its mission of saving and enhancing lives.
