Middlesex Co. To Auction Off Furniture, Vehicles, Equipment In October Sales

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Middlesex County will hold two online public auctions in October, offering surplus office furniture, equipment, vehicles, buses, and construction materials.

The Building 216 Auction will feature office equipment, furniture, and miscellaneous items no longer needed by the county. The Central Vehicle Complex Auction will include vehicles, buses , and construction equipment.

All bidding and viewing will take place online at www.usgovbid.com, with direct auction links available once each auction opens.

Payment must be made via wire transfer, overnight cashier's check or certified check by FedEx.

Building 216 Auction Schedule:

• Auction Opens: Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at 9 a.m.

• In-Person Inspection: Tuesday, Oct. 14, and Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Auction Closes: Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at 6 p.m.

• Pickup Dates: Thursday, Oct. 16; Friday, Oct. 17; and Monday, Oct. 20

• Location: Middlesex College, Building 216, 2600 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison

Central Vehicle Complex Auction Schedule:

• Auction Opens: Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at 9 a.m.

• In-Person Inspection: Monday, Oct. 27, and Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Auction Closes: Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at 6 p.m.

• Pickup Dates: Wednesday, Nov. 5, and Thursday, Nov. 6

• Location: Route 130 and Apple Orchard Road, North Brunswick
