Motorcyclist Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash In Edison: NJSP

The crash took place at 3:56 a.m. on Sunday, authorities said.

EDISON, NJ — A motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning in a crash that took place on the NJ Turnpike in Edison, NJ, State Police said.

At 3:56 a.m. on Sunday, a 39-year-old man from Bristol, PA was riding a Harley Davidson on NJ Turnpike south outer roadway, milepost 84.6, Edison.

According to preliminary investigation, the motorcyclist struck a GMC cargo van that was traveling south on the outer roadway. As a result, the driver of the motorcycle was ejected and sustained fatal injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, and the identification of the motorcyclist is pending next of kin notification.
