EDISON, NJ — The National Night Out which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, has been canceled due to inclement weather, Edison officials said.
The Edison Police Department was scheduled to host the event at Lake Papaianni Park.

Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
