Two New Officers Will Support Metuchen Policing Goals: Mayor
Officers Brandon Audet and Diana Roland are welcomed to Metuchen Police Department.

METUCHEN, NJ — As part of its goal to expand community policing and traffic safety in town, the borough announced the hiring of two officers to the Police Department.
Officers Brandon Audet and Diana Roland are the newest members of the force:
Roland grew up in Ukraine and her family moved to Cyprus when she was a teenager. As a young adult, she worked at a hotel and helped identify a group of criminal suspects who were staying there. Her work then inspired her to enter law enforcement, her bio says.

Audet grew up in nearby Perth Amboy and has many childhood memories on the streets and fields of Metuchen. He began his law enforcement career as an officer in the Plainsboro Police Department, where he spent the last four years, according to his bio.
Adding the officers to the force enables the borough "to continue to implement our comprehensive community policing program, place our officers at all types of borough events, in our schools, and walking and biking throughout Metuchen," said Mayor Jonathan M. Busch in the announcement.
