Bergen Sheriff's Task Force Arrest 8 For Skipping Court
Police from 18 departments across the county helped the Bergen County Sheriff's Office round up eight people who were wanted by authorities.
Police from 18 departments across the county helped the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office round up eight people who were wanted by authorities for failing to appear in Superior Court.
Sheriff Anthony Cureton said the arrests made Tuesday during the Fugitive Task Force operation also generated multiple leads for police.
According to the sheriff’s office, the following people were taken into custody:

- Adrian Gierek, 24, Oakland, 3rd degree burglary charge
- Luz Lozada, 24, Lodi, 3rd degree accomplice liability charge
- Joseph Crawford, 32, Hawthorne, 3rd degree burglary charge
- Rapaikari Whelan, 26, Fort Lee, disorderly persons criminal trespass charge
- Darrell Davis, 36, Hackensack, distribution of a controlled substance charge
- Kristian Salmeron, 37,Garfield, 3rd degree endangering an injured victim charge
- Patricio Ramirez, 47, New Milford, 4th degree operation a motor vehicle during license suspension (second violation) charge
- Jahlea Jones, 27, Bogota, 4th degree unlawful taking (joyriding) charge
