Sgt. Sean Macys initiated a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 at Paramus Road and arrested the operator, a 34-year-old Hawthorne man, after he failed a roadside sobriety test. He was released to a family member after being charged with careless driving, failure to possess an insurance card, driving while intoxicated & refusal to submit to a breath test.

P.O. Luis Vasquez observed two suspicious males on 1st Street at Bellair Avenue who separated when they noticed his presence. He stopped & arrested a 28-year-old Paterson man after he gave a false name to the officer. Det. Paul Donohue stopped the second male, a 29-year-old man from Paterson on Morlot Avenue and arrested him after locating an arrest warrant out of Fair Lawn for $658. The 28-year-old was released after being charged with hindering apprehension. The 29-year-old was sent to Bergen County Jail.

P.O. Brad Pindyck approached a parked, occupied vehicle in Dunkerhook Park and a 20-year-old man from Fair Lawn, after marijuana was discovered inside the vehicle. Another occupant, a 19-year-old from Fair Lawn was arrested after he was observed attempting to toss a bag of marijuana to the ground. Both were released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance & possession of drug paraphernalia.
