Fair Lawn League Of Women Voters Hosting Candidate Forums

A Board of Education forum is scheduled for next week, while a forum for council candidates is slated for October.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — The League of Women Voters of Fair Lawn will host two candidate forums over the next couple weeks, one for Board of Education candidates and the other for those running for council.

Board of Education candidates will be asked questions at the first forum, scheduled for Sept. 30 at 8 p.m.

The Borough Council forum is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m., and will also be streamed on Zoom.

Deputy Mayor Josh Reinitz and Council Member Gail Rottenstrich are running for the two open seats, while Republicans Cindy Montano and Glen Callons will serve as their opponents.

Reinitz was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2018. He was named deputy mayor in January 2020. Rottenstrich was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2017 and served as deputy mayor in May 2018.
