Game Show Helps Bergen County Students Celebrate Catholic Schools Week
Students from a Bergen County-based parochial school participated in a live game show as part of Catholic Schools Week in the Archdiocese.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Students from Hasbrouck Heights’ Corpus Christi School recently participated in a live game show as part of
Catholic Schools Week.
The Archdiocese of Newark’s 67 schools joined the nationwide observance of Catholic Schools Week, which ended in early February. They participated in a variety of service and educational events.
The events were designed to highlight the "benefits of a faith-based education with a variety of meaningful activities," said the Archdiocese.

In Hasbrouck Heights, students at Corpus Christi School participated in a live game show.
Students from Sacred Heart School in Jersey City assembled care packages for a local nursing home. Eighth graders from Westfield’s Holy Trinity School visited a local nursing facility, where they lifted residents’ spirits with bingo and crafts.

Overall, hundreds of students throughout Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties participated in projects that highlighted the values of service, learning, and community that Catholic schools instill year-round.
