Saddle Brook Woman's Home Burglarized While She Showered: Police
A door was forced open and the dresser drawers pulled open and sifted through, police said. Money was taken.
SADDLE BROOK, NJ — Someone broke into a woman's home was she was showering and stole money, police said Monday night.
The Outwater Lane home was burglarized at 4 p.m. Police got a call from the woman, who said someone had been in her home and ransacked the bedrooms while she showered, said Chief Robert Kugler.
When she got out of the shower, the woman noticed that the dresser drawers had been pulled open and sifted through, Kugler said.

An undisclosed amount of cash and personal items were stolen, the chief said.
Police went to the home and found that a side door was forced open, Kugler said.

The woman, who is in her 20s, was upset and shaken regarding what happened, Kugler said.
"As this occurred on a busy roadway and at a time of the day with a good volume of traffic, we are asking that anyone who may have seen anything to contact our department," Kugler said.
