Palisades Park Cop Charged With DWI: Report

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – A Palisades Park cop faces a driving while intoxicated charge after Fort Lee police found him passed out in a parked car, according to a report.

William Duarte, 27, was arrested around 11 p.m. on July 3 in front of Linwood Avenue home and is scheduled to appear in Fort Lee Municipal Court on Aug. 13 to answer to the charge, NJ.com reported.

Duarte, who joined the force in January, has not been suspended and is in treatment for alcohol abuse, according to Northjersey.com.
